The baguettes were pretty shitty though.

Today I went with Ethan and Elisa to East Bay Restaurant Supply. I bought so much stuff! Most relevant to bread making: some wicker baskets and cotton cloth to use as bannetons. They are a little smaller than I'd like (I think), but I'll bet I can make a recipe that fills two exactly.

I also got more mixing bowls (including another bowl for the stand mixer), some graduated plastic tubs for rising dough, and most importantly: a chef jacket and hat!

I've started the firm starter for another two batches of sourdough. One might end up being some percentage whole wheat (red or white, not sure yet).
